Design Challenge:
Cover up that horrible red! This room is adjacent to the Cape Cod Living Room previously featured in our portfolio. The challenge was to extend the color palette of the living room into the dining room without getting too “matchy, matchy”.

Design Solution:
While the living room colors were inspired by a favorite fabric, this room’s color palette was inspired by the couple’s wool rug; a gift from the husband’s grandmother. The intensity of the wall color had to be as strong as the mustard in the adjacent room. Pratt and Lambert’s Palm Green proved to be the winner. Soft, white window coverings and a clean, white dining room table complete the crisp, eclectic style of this dining room.
